ActionWorks Team Manager extends the ActionWorks Business Process Manager to provide robust team management, virtual workspaces, and a suite of web-based collaboration, project management, and administrative tools for executing knowledge work in dynamic team environments, including collaboration with external contacts.
Based on the ActionWorks Business Interaction Model, Team Manager gives your collaborative knowledge-worker teams the flexibility, accountability, and visibility required in creative, fluid problem-solving, where people need to plan, negotiate, decide, and act.
Team Manager offers powerful team project management capabilities, such as classic and dynamic project planning and execution, resource and skill management, Gantt charts, team calendars, discussion and issue threads, and project analysis and reporting, including earned-value analysis. Additionally, teams can save role-based templates of successful projects for others to use, and individuals can easily create and save their own process templates.
Team Manager's resource and skill management helps you quickly find the right team members based on roles, positions, associated offices, skills, experience, availability, location, and preferences, as well as group people into custom categories for easier reference. Once they are on the team, Team Manager provides time sheet reporting and time-off requests.
And, Team Manager allows you to collaborate through email with suppliers, partners, customers—or anyone in your contact list—even if they are not licensed users of the system.
Finally, Team Manager tracks all interactions in the process history, monitoring performance, and providing the basis for continuous process improvement.
